Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she learned the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. Lennox survived off a student's stipend working part-time in order in order to earn a living. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. The band did not get to compete in the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she served as the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop group. The band was where she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they formed the duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her debut solo album Diva. The album was released in 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself came out in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album along with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art with the title "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish politician, philanthropist and music producer and singer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They went on, in the 1980s, to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva with many of her most popular tracks like Why and the song Walking On Broken Glass.
