Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African actress and model born on 2 December 1981. Her most prominent performances are on television and movies. Her acting career began with The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut was with her next role playing Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on a lot of television shows over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. Since 2016, Brandt has been playing the character in the role of Mazikeen in the series of urban fantasy Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt is originally from Cape Town South Africa, however, she was able to move with her parents Auckland New Zealand in late adolescence. Brandt began her modeling career through appearances in commercials as well as in print ads. Prior to becoming an infamous model, Brandt worked as a salesperson for retail and as a recruitment consultant for information technology. In the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity, where she played Leilani F'auigaese in 2009, her first major role was taken on. in 2021, her first major role came as Naevia the slave in Starz's Spartacus Blood and Sand. Naevia's role is also reprised by her on the Spartacus miniseries Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series which include Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010) as well as Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as the role of a bounty hunter named Mazikeen in the Netflix hit show Lucifer. This is her biggest role to date.
